Did you know, there are 1,500 volunteers helping out TeamNUH? Doing a variety of roles, they are an integral part of the team.
At the end of Volunteers week (1-7th June 2019), it is appropriate that these amazing people are recognised for their long service.
The Friends of QMC alongside our friends at the League of friends of City hospital are proud to be able to sponsor these awards.
The awards were held at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Nottingham. The trust Chairman, Eric Morton opened the event by recognising the great work the volunteers do every day.
Nicky Hill, Director of Human Resources at NUH, hosted the award ceremony. 140 volunteers, who have given 460 years of voluntary service (wow!) were recognised for their service. Awards were given for 5, 10, 15, 20 & 25 years.
After the awards, an excellent lunch was enjoyed by everyone.
